Some of our contributions to the community have included:

• Awarding of scholarships to college-bound Howard County students.
• Hosting Voter Registration Drives.
• Providing support to community-based organizations such as Meals on Wheels, the Fuel Fund, and Food Pantry.
• Contributing funds to numerous organizations such as:
  • Perpetual Educational General Endowment Fund at Howard Community College, Columbia, Maryland, supporting local students
  • Howard County General Hospital
  • Howard County Center for African American Culture and Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center in Howard County
• Hosting our signature event, the annual Peabody Concert, featuring classical, jazz, and gospel music performed by students attending the Peabody Conservatory of Music of Johns Hopkins University.
• Creating a partnership with Running Brook Elementary School in which members read to students, participate in the Junior Achievement Exchange City Project, and ‘Make Health A Habit’- a program that emphasizes health education.
• Providing emergency relief support via a donation of new library books to a school ravaged by Hurricane Katrina, and participating in community service clean-up project in St. Croix, VI  
• Donating “Maama Kits” to help alleviate the problem of neonatal mortality in partnership with the World Health Organization.  
• Support and contributions to Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center in Howard County.
